Zoë was called to the bar in 2021 after 24 years as a legal practitioner. Zoë has a broad practice in civil, immigration, family, domestic violence, and crime. She regularly appears as an advocate in State and Federal Courts and is a Nationally Accredited Mediator.

  • Zoë was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1997 in England and Wales, and further admitted to practice in New South Wales in 2006 and commenced practice at the Queensland Bar in 2021. Zoë is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator.

    Zoë practices in both State and Federal jurisdictions in the areas of commercial and civil disputes, property and leasing, regulatory prosecutions, criminal law, family law, domestic violence and Australian immigration.

    In 2017 Zoë completed a graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice with Distinction to complement her practice in this area of law.

    With 24 years practising as a solicitor, including as a Principal of her own law firm, Zoë brings a depth of knowledge and experience to her practice as a barrister.

    Outside of the law, Zoë also has invaluable experience in operating a family business, including workplace relations and office management. This brings a valuable depth of commercial acumen that Zoë uses in her legal practice too.

    Zoë was recently elected as the treasurer for the Gold Coast Bar Association. The voluntary service that she provides is greatly appreciated by her barrister peers.
