Zach is a seasoned litigator with over 14 years of experience in complex, commercial litigation, specialising in insolvency, property, and securities law. Admitted to practise in both South Africa and Australia, he brings a wealth of international expertise to his clients.

Before migrating to Australia, Zach served as an Advocate (Barrister) at the Cape Bar in South Africa for 14 years. He acted for diverse clientele, including leading financial institutions, corporate entities, and government bodies. His extensive experience encompasses high-stakes cases involving cross-border debt recovery, shareholder disputes, and the winding-up of companies.

Zach has been involved in significant matters such as the Steinhoff saga – South Africa’s largest corporate scandal – where he represented an offshore fund in a €993 million ($1.6 billion) claim. He also acted for a Belgian military contractor in an R753 million USD judgment for a client against the Vice President of Equatorial Guinea for wrongful imprisonment and torture.
